Reconnecting with Aliveness
Your Experience is Valid
It doesn’t matter how your concerns compare to what others have gone through. Whether you feel you come from a “good home” or feel your problems aren’t “important enough,” the real question is:
If you aren’t waking up with a sense of anticipation and aliveness, there may be something blocking your path. Let’s figure this out together.
My Approach
As a client-centered therapist, I provide a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space personalized entirely to your growth. Together, we will:
Identify the Blocks
Uncover the beliefs or habits that stand in the way of your goals.
Build Resilience
Develop the skills and tools needed to become more mindful and compassionate toward yourself and others.
Achieve Clarity
Assess the changes you aspire to and find a way to make them a reality.
What to Expect
Therapy is a tailored process, and we begin by building a strong foundation together.
Frequency
To maintain momentum and growth, I typically meet with clients on a weekly basis.
The Initial Phase
Our first 3 to 4 sessions are dedicated to understanding your story. We will explore your family history, past experiences, and mental health background to ensure I have a complete picture of your world.
A Tailored Path
This gathering of information is essential—it allows me to carefully customize our therapeutic process to fit your unique needs and goals.
Environment
Sessions last 50 to 52 minutes and are conducted in a supportive, comfortable atmosphere—either in person or via video.
Areas of Focus
While I work with a wide range of challenges, my practice often centers on these core areas:
直面するさまざまなお悩みに寄り添いますが、特に以下のような心のケアに力を入れています。
Healing the Past
Processing childhood trauma, navigating complex grief, and finding peace after loss.
Navigating Emotion
While we may work through any number of internal experiences, some of the emotions we frequently navigate together include:
- Depression and Anxiety: Moving through the fog of low mood or the persistent hum of worry.
- Social Anxiety: Finding ease in social settings and quieting the fear of judgment from others and yourself.
- Anger and Conflict: Developing tools to understand and express emotions in a healthy, constructive way.
- And Beyond: Whether you are grappling with guilt, shame, numbness, or overwhelming stress, every emotion is a valid starting point for our work.
Breaking Patterns
Addressing the exhaustion of perfectionism, the fear of losing control, and the cycle of people pleasing.
Multicultural & Navigational Stress
Building resilience against the weight of discrimination, prejudice, and the unique challenges faced by immigrants and multicultural individuals.
Therapeutic Modalities

EMDR Therapy
EMDR(トラウマケア):
A powerful method for processing traumatic memories.
Parts Work (Ego State Therapy)
A supportive approach that helps you understand and harmonize the different “parts” of your internal system—essential for safe, trauma-informed healing.
Inquiry-Based Modalities (IBSR, CBT, & DBT)
I often integrate these approaches to help you identify the specific thoughts or beliefs that are preventing you from seeing and feeling clearly. Together, we will:
- Articulate the Internal Narrative: We begin by identifying the negative thoughts that cloud your perspective.
- Question the “Truth”: Using inquiry, we look internally to see if these thoughts are actually true or if they are simply old patterns.
- Choose a New Action: We explore how you would feel and act without those thoughts, empowering you to make choices based on your current reality rather than past assumptions.
